I recently had the pleasure of photographing Katie & Edward’s wedding in Charleston, SC. They, like so many this year, had to overcome many difficult decisions and sort through unfavorable circumstances to land on what was best for them and their families. With the help of the uber-talented Geororey Blake Sams Events leading the way, Katie and Edward chose to wed on their original date joined by their immediate family and party with their guest next year. GBSE provided a live stream of the ceremony for others to view virtually and also surprised them with a handful of loved ones to celebrate their ceremony exit. The intimacy of the day gave way to incredible moments throughout, the circumstances of this pandemic have forced my eyes wide open, accepting things for what they are, and taking in the small but beautiful moments life presents to us all every day.
