Kat + Charles // Tehama Golf Club in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California

Charles and I consider ourselves romantic, old souls who are young at heart and we wanted our decor to reflect that. With that in mind, we opted for lots of lush, green and white flowers mixed with candlelight to achieve an uber-romantic vibe. So as not to compete with the naturally neutral palate and elegant aesthetic of the existing space, we went with Ivory, Light Grey with pops of Ocean Blue and Powder Blue. The reception room was surrounded by walls of windows and was drenched with the golden light of sunset for much of the early part of dinner. To play with that feature, we opted for ivory sequin table linens to subtly catch the light of the setting sun, as well as the candles lit in the room.
